At first glance, this may look like an elegant yet standard metal-framed bookcase. However, your cats will quickly realize the Metropolitan Cat Condo was designed with them in mind. The stepped design of this modern cat tower allows multiple cats to climb atop, as each large, 13" x 18.5" platform provides ample room to perch.
Two types of platform sets are offered: one set with four plush cushions and one scratchpad, or a set with 5 white faux fur pads. You can mix and match the frame color and platform color to your style preference. All platform coverings are removable and washable while the sisal scratchpad is replaceable if worn. Replacement cushions and sisal are available.

The Metropolitan Cat Condo has a metal frame and can be wiped down with soap and water or a pet-friendly cleaning spray. The platform coverings can be easily removed and spot cleaned or replaced if needed.
What do I do if the cushions or sisal gets destroyed?
The covers of the cushions can be removed and spot cleaned. If the cushion is beyond repair we do offer replacement parts for all wearable parts including the sisal.
How can I get my cats to use their new cat condo?
If your cats don't notice their new cat tower at first, you can put some catnip on it and then place your cats onto the platforms. You can also place treats on it to lure them over. Cats will love to perch on the top of this cat condo especially if it's placed near a window. It can also be paired with cat wall shelves to give your cats more room to play without giving up floor space.
What do I do if my cat doesn't use this cat condo?
We recommend giving your cat a few weeks to get accustomed to any new cat furniture. Anything new is going to smell strange to them at first. It can help to rub the cat furniture with a piece of fabric with your or your cat's scent on it. Luring your cat onto the cat furniture with treats or catnip is always a good option. We also recommend using toys to encourage playtime on the furniture. If none of this works, we do offer a 60 day "finicky cat" return policy. Please contact customer service for more information.

I love that the condo is metal, durable and pleasing to the eye. I used double sided Velcro tape to put a sisal pad on the bottom shelf for a good scratching spot, and that’s been an awesome addition. My condo sits on a carpeted floor so there is no scooting when the cats jump on/through it. I have a higher perch that my tom cat enjoys. When he’s ready to come down, he leaps from that distanced spot to the top shelf of this condo. There is no budge. The condo absorbs his 18+ pounds without a hint of stress to its structure. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.
Just purchased the metropolitan cat tree in gold frame with white platforms & gray cushions. I have 3 cats, an 8lb British shorthair(loves to be high), a 12lb Siamese(doesn’t climb anything) and a 16lb mix Norwegian forest cat(the reason we bought this). We had a wall unit that he used to love napping on top of & we sold it. _x000D_
Positives: packed well & no damage, no missing parts, parts fit together well, everything is nicely labeled to put together. Seems sturdy. Color is gold but not “bright†gold which happens to go every well with our console it’s next to. _x000D_
Negatives: will chip easily so be careful when putting it together. I’m going to see if they provide touch up paint. I wish the cushions went up on the sides to be more cradling. The cushions are kind of cheap. _x000D_
Tips: I took the cushions off for now so they can be more sure footed on the flat hard surface until they get used it. I also put treats & cat nip on each level. _x000D_

It looks great – nice, clean lines. Pretty easy to put together (by myself). Glad I decided to get it. Still waiting for the cats to explore it, but I am confident that they will. I put it in front of a window and am thinking of augmenting the curtain so that the perches have direct views to the outside.
I have a very large (17 lb) husky Siamese boy and he runs up and down this things all day long. I had been concerned that the spacing between the shelves might be too short for his height but it’s actually fine. The unit occasionally shakes a bit when he throws his weight around, but it’s very stable and is not going to tip over. He looks standing on the top of it on his hind legs and touching the ceiling. Excellent product and looks sleek in front of the windows of my condo. Easy assembly, no detectable odor.
