Meet The Rescues That Will Receive The Funds
“At FieldHaven, it isn’t just about adoptions. Our goal is to enhance the lives of cats and their owners and caregivers by offering programs to Lincoln and surrounding communities that fulfill their needs. The cats at FieldHaven roam freely in indoor/outdoor community rooms and individual suites.”
“PKNYC is a volunteer-based rescue group that extends all over NYC. Our home base is in Middle Village, Queens where we have our small shelter space. At this location we do intake of animals who were rescued from the street.”
“In 1970, a group of animal lovers founded Animal Protective Association, which cared for cats in foster homes & at vet hospitals until each cat could be adopted into a loving home. A generous bequest in 1977 enabled us to purchase a building with large airy rooms for the cats to play and explore. Opened in July 2012, Harmony House’s new cageless no-kill adoption center showcases our cats and kittens for adoption in Chicago’s greenest shelter.”
