2012 Cat Fancy Award Winner

On a recent trip to Buenos Aires we visited the Cementerio de la Recoleta, final resting placed of many notable Argentines including Eva Perón. Roaming these impressive tombs we found several felines. Much like the Queen’s Guard of Buckingham Palace, these cemetery guardians seemed to ignore the close-up photographs from tourists, sitting perfectly still in their perches. We only assume their duty is to keep the ghost of these tombs in check when the sun goes down.

In the Summer time, what’s more annoying than carrying a water bottle along with your dog leash. You want to keep a free hand but unless you have a third you’re out of luck. Dog Fancy Editor's Choice Award Winner

In the August issue of the trade magazine Pet Product News, I was interviewed for an article on cats and their preferences.

 “’When it comes to sleep and play habits, cats can be categorized into two groups. Bottom dwellers like to be low to the ground,’ Feinkind said. ‘On the other hand, there are cats that always like to be elevated. Cat furniture that is 4 to 6 feet tall is high enough for a cat to feel its being elusive, but not out of reach of its owner.’”

 The article, which discussed emerging trends in cat furniture, featured several The Refined Feline brand products including the Igloo Pet Bed and Kitty Ball Bed which are ideal for cats who prefer a ground-level hideaway. The article continues, noting the upcoming Catemporary Cat Castle, as a perfect fit for any height-loving feline.

I was amazed at what these artists were able to do with our Little Lotus Cat Towers. In TidyCat ad placed in Country Living magazine three artists used their creativity to make some very very stylish and cool designs based on different themes provided. New Cat Silhouette Cat Shelves

Like the successful Cat Clouds Cat Shelves, these are American made out of high gauge steel. However these are larger with a soft machine washable cushion. The cushion is firmly held in place with high powered magnets.
